With this new development, the top juju music/gospel artist who had toured some major countries like UNITED KINGDOM, DUBAI , FRANCE , ITALY , GERMANY etc in recent times has been designated for an outstanding international award during the Sammek Entertainment 10 years anniversary of culture slated for October 21 and 22, 2023 in the United States. It was also gathered that this year’s festival which promised to be a grand one and a mother of all social events in the US will last from this year’s summer to 2024 summer period.

A household name in the Nigerian music industry, Alayo Melody Singer had a music career spanning over three decades with international appearances and performances which has won him several laurels.

Speaking on the latest move, the Juju, Gospel crooner said “Yes, it is true, though not the first time of signing a deal with an international marketer. I have always had a brand in the United Kingdom (Alex K Money production), they are my publicist in the UK.

With the profitable business relationship, I felt the need to spread my tentacles and meet the demand of our teeming fans in the US, which informed why we joyfully accepted an offer from Sammek Moments Art & Cultural Entertainment to handle our media and publicity in the US. Our fans in the USA should expect a time-to-time appearance and performance,” he concluded.

Alayo Melody singer was in London to perform at two venues.
He performed first at Majestic Restaurant, 330 Cold Harbour Lane SW9 8QH on Sunday November 4th, and he was at G2G Lekki Lounge, Wantz Road, Rediff House, off Oxlow lane Rm 108, Daghenham on Thursday November 7th 2013.

The music of 'Alayo Singer' is undisputedly the 'Number 1' choice for lovers of music in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The brand has gradually grown beyond Abeokuta, into the whole of Nigeria, and at the rate which the brand is growing, the music of Alayo Singer will no longer be ‘Number 1’ in just Abeokuta alone, but ‘Number 1’ in Nigeria.

Alayo Singer hails from Abeokuta North L.G. of Ogun state, but He was born in Lagos state on February 1st 1975 to Late Pa Emmanuel Sunday Akinola, a Police Officer and Mrs Akinola aka Iya Adura. Alayo Singer is happily married to his beautiful childhood sweetheart, Yetunde, and the marriage is blessed with children.

Contrary to the belief that musicians are usually not educated, Alayo Singer is well educated, and also a lover of education. His education started at Alaguntan Primary School, Iyana-Ipaja Lagos state, and he later proceeded to Awori Anglican Comprehensive High school, Ipaja for his secondary school education. After that, he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma degree in Business Studies from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. He is currently studying for a Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Security Studies at the National Open University of Nigeria.

Like most talented musicians, Alayo Singer started singing in the choir from the age of 6, and on 1st November 1999, he officially started his musical career with the duly registered band name ''Alayo Melody Singers'' (Reg. no: OG5605). Despite the fame and busy schedule Alayo Singer is still a devoted chorister and devout Christian.

He released his first album, titled ‘Ileri Oluwa’ in 2006, and has released a total of 8 albums. His albums and live performances are being sold both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. He has performed across several states and localities of Nigeria, he has also performed in South Africa, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, London and Dubai. He has been receiving awards since 2002, and has received a countless number of awards and recognitions, both in Nigeria and Outside Nigeria.

He is a great motivator who has always encouraged people to keep striving for success, regardless of their background and current situation. He is an inspiration, mentor, and sponsor to several youths, he is also a proud Rotarian.
